About Fiskars
Fiskars says its products are designed for everyday gardening, cooking and creating, and traces its history to an ironworks founded in 1649 by the Fiskars river in Finland. Its range covers garden cutting tools, power tools, axes, scissors, hand tools, pet care products, and paper crafting and sewing supplies, along with products for kids. According to its heritage page, Fiskars made the world's first plastic-handled scissors in 1967, and the brand is part of Fiskars Group, which also includes other brands.
