This Privacy Policy explains how LeadQuasar (“LeadQuasar”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data in connection with our website at leadquasar.com and our B2B lead-generation and sales-intelligence platform (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Data we collect
Account data
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, password (stored hashed), and, for paid plans, billing details processed by our payment provider. We may also store your workspace settings, ideal-customer profile, and preferences.
Usage data
We collect information about how you interact with the Service — searches run, leads viewed and unlocked, lists created, exports, pages visited, and approximate device and browser information — to operate, secure, and improve the product.
Cookies and analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the Service. We also use first-party, privacy-conscious analytics together with Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate usage and performance. These tools collect limited, largely aggregated data and do not build cross-site advertising profiles. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
2. The B2B contact data in our product
The Service provides access to a database of business and professional contact information (such as name, business role, company, business email, business phone, and public professional profile links) used for legitimate B2B sales and marketing outreach. This data relates to individuals in their professional or business capacity.
Lawful basis
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process this business-contact data on the basis of our and our customers’ legitimate interests in carrying out and receiving B2B communications, balanced against the rights and interests of the individuals concerned. We do not knowingly include special categories of personal data in the product.
How to request removal
If you are a business contact in our database and would like your information corrected or removed, email support@leadquasar.com with the relevant details. We will action verified requests and, where required by law, add your details to a suppression list so they are not re-added.
3. How we use data
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Service and your account.
- To process payments, credits, and subscriptions.
- To power AI features such as search, enrichment, and outreach drafting.
- To communicate with you about your account, support, and updates.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Third-party processors
We share personal data with a limited set of service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, including:
- Stripe — payment processing and billing.
- Resend / SMTP email providers — transactional and outreach email delivery.
- OpenAI — AI features such as natural-language search and message drafting.
- Vercel — hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring.
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.
5. Data retention
We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and security obligations. Suppression records may be kept indefinitely to honor removal requests. You can request deletion of your account data at any time.
6. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, hashed credentials, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. International transfers
We and our processors may store and process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses to protect data transferred internationally.
8. Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise any right, email support@leadquasar.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
9. Children’s data
The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service.
