What the n8n integration does

Add a Webhook node to an n8n workflow, cloud or self-hosted, and LeadQuasar posts to it as things happen. You keep the data on your own server if you host n8n yourself.

  • Cloud or self-hosted

    Any public https address works, so a self-hosted n8n behind your own domain receives the events directly. Private and internal addresses are refused.

  • Check the signature

    Compute HMAC-SHA256 of the timestamp, a dot and the raw body with your endpoint's secret, and compare it with the signature header. n8n's Crypto node does it.

  • Test URL while you build

    Paste the Test URL while you wire the workflow, then swap in the Production URL and activate it.

  • Ready for AI agents

    An n8n AI agent can take an unlocked lead and research it, write the first email or score it before it reaches your CRM.

Set it up

n8n: questions

Does it work with self-hosted n8n?

Yes, as long as the Webhook node's address is public and on https.

How do I know a request came from LeadQuasar?

Each endpoint has its own secret. The signature header is sha256= plus HMAC-SHA256 of the timestamp, a dot and the body; compute it and compare.

What happens if my server is down?

LeadQuasar retries a failed delivery with growing gaps for about 15 hours. An address that keeps failing pauses itself until you turn it back on.
