What you can do

  • Templates and totals

    Classic, Modern, Minimal and Bold: the same 4 templates as invoices. Each line is quantity times price; the discount comes off first, then tax, worked out in whole cents.

  • Numbered for you

    Quotes run on their own series, QUO-0001 and up, apart from your invoices. Type your own number on any quote and it is kept, as long as you haven't used it.

  • A date it's valid until

    Every quote is valid for 30 days unless you pick another date (7, 14, 30 or 60 days are one click). Past it, a quote nobody answered shows as Expired.

  • Track every answer

    Mark a quote sent, accepted or declined. The Quotes page totals what is awaiting an answer, what was accepted this month and what expired, per currency.

  • Convert to invoice

    One click makes an invoice draft with the same client, lines, discount, tax, template and CRM record. The two link to each other, the quote is marked accepted, and converting again opens the same invoice.

Quotes: questions

Is there a free quote generator?

Yes. The quote generator needs no account: your draft stays in your browser and the PDF comes from your browser's Save as PDF, with a diagonal “SAMPLE” mark. A free account removes the mark, saves your quotes, numbers them and converts them to invoices: Free makes 3 quotes a month; paid plans make more (Pro 100 a month, Plus 300, Max unlimited).

What happens when I convert a quote to an invoice?

LeadQuasar makes an invoice draft with the quote's client, lines, discount, tax, template and CRM record, numbered on your invoice series and due on your usual terms. The quote is marked accepted and both link to each other. The invoice counts toward the month's invoices.

Does LeadQuasar send the quote to my client?

No. Download the PDF and send it from your own email. Marking a quote sent, accepted or declined is for your own records.

Is a quote the same as an estimate?

They are often used for the same document. An estimate usually signals a price that may change; a quote is a fixed price for the work described. Either way, list each item with its quantity and price, and the date the offer is valid until.

Which currencies can I use?

Dollars, euros, pounds, rupees, dirhams, rand and more in the editor, and any real currency code through the AI. The Quotes page adds totals up per currency, never across them.
