What the HubSpot integration does

Build a list of the businesses you sell to in LeadQuasar, then send it to HubSpot as contacts. They are matched on email, so sending a list again updates the contacts instead of making copies.

  • Contacts, matched on email

Each lead becomes a HubSpot contact through a batch upsert on email. A lead with a phone number but no email is created as a new contact.

  • A company card on each contact

Every new contact arrives with a company card: its category, city and state, Google rating and reviews, LeadQuasar quality score and website, so whoever opens the record has the background without coming back here. In HubSpot it is a note on the contact.

  • Lead status comes back

Turn on two-way sync and LeadQuasar checks the records it sent about every 30 minutes. When their status changes there, the record moves here too: Won and Lost always, other stages only forward, and a closed deal is never reopened.

  • From a list, a rule or the AI

Send a saved list from the list page, ask the AI to send one, or let an automation rule send a CRM record when it reaches a stage.

Set it up

  1. 1In HubSpot, go to Development, then Legacy apps (you need to be a super admin). Open HubSpot
  2. 2Click Create legacy app and choose Private. Name it LeadQuasar.
  3. 3On the Scopes tab, add crm.objects.contacts.read and crm.objects.contacts.write.
  4. 4Create the app, open its Auth tab, copy the access token, and paste it below.

If HubSpot suggests a service key instead, carry on with the legacy private app: LeadQuasar uses its access token.

FAQ

HubSpot: questions

Which leads can I send to HubSpot?

Any saved list, up to 1,000 leads a send, and only leads your account can see in full. On Max that is every lead, so a list goes across with its emails and phone numbers.

Will it create duplicate contacts?

Not for leads with an email: contacts are matched on email, so a second send updates them. A lead with only a phone number is created each time it is sent.

Which HubSpot permissions does it need?

Only crm.objects.contacts.read and crm.objects.contacts.write, on a private app you create. LeadQuasar never sees your HubSpot password.

Is there a cheaper way?

Pro ($9.99/month) exports any list as a CSV in HubSpot's own import format, ready for HubSpot's import tool.
