How big is your market, really?
Counted from 7.5M+ verified US businesses — including how many you could actually email or call.
What is a TAM calculator?
A TAM (total addressable market) calculator estimates how many potential customers exist for what you sell. Most do it by multiplying assumptions together, which means the answer inherits every guess you made. This one counts instead: it queries 7.5M+ verified US business records and returns how many match your industry and states, plus how many carry a business email or a direct phone number. That second half is the number that decides whether an outbound campaign is realistic — a market of 10,000 businesses where 3,000 have an email is a 3,000-business campaign.
Questions
How is this different from other TAM calculators?
Most ask you for a market size and a price and multiply them together — the answer is only as good as the guess you started with. This one counts actual businesses in a database of 7.5M+ verified US records, so the number is checkable rather than assumed, and it tells you how many are reachable by email or phone, which no estimate can.
Is it really free, and do I need an account?
Free, no account, no card. There is a daily limit purely to stop it being scripted. Seeing the actual names and contact details behind the count needs a free account, which unlocks 50 leads a day.
What does 'reachable by email' mean?
That the record has a verified business email address on file. It is the number that matters when you are sizing an outbound campaign, because a market of 10,000 businesses where only 3,000 have an email is a 3,000-business campaign.
Why does my industry return a smaller number than I expected?
Coverage is uneven by category and by state. If the wording you used has no matching industry category, the tool falls back to matching company names and says so — that result is a floor, not a full census. Broader wording usually gives a truer picture: 'dentist' rather than 'pediatric orthodontist'.
Where does the data come from?
LeadQuasar's own B2B database of verified US business contacts, the same records the product sells access to. Nothing here is modelled or extrapolated — if the tool says 4,193, that is how many rows match.
