About North American Stainless
North American Stainless (NAS), part of the Acerinox Group, says it was founded in 1990 and describes itself as the largest fully integrated producer of stainless steel in the U.S. All of its production lines sit on one site in Carroll County, Kentucky, built as a greenfield project near a major interstate highway with direct access to the Ohio River. It makes stainless flat and long products, including angle, rebar, wire rod and bar, for sectors such as transportation, industrial equipment, construction and infrastructure, food, household appliances and environmental technology.
