It serves buildings, energy, water resources, government, higher education, and industrial and manufacturing clients. The firm was founded by Edgar C. Wiley as a consulting engineering firm in 1901, and John F. Wilson partnered with him in 1913 to form Wiley & Wilson. It became employee-owned through an employee stock ownership plan in 2000 and changed its name to Wiley|Wilson in 2008, adopting the tagline Constant Progress.
